Our Story

We ‘formulated’ EMBER™ for ourselves. We didn’t have test tubes or scientific scales, and the only time you might have caught either of us wearing a lab coat was Halloween. We used measuring spoons, tap water, gut instinct, and relied on our own research. Since those days we have worked with top beverage scientists and flavor houses and what we got was the same great product…

It simply tasted better and lasted longer. We no longer let tonight ruin tomorrow, and neither should you. As of now there is no excuse, so let’s work together to make hangovers a thing of the past.

Cheers!

Roy and Mike

Ingredients

  • Molybdenum

    Molybdenum

The 42nd element has demonstrated abilities at promoting detoxification within organs. Thanks to modern science, molybdenum is now available in a form that is soluble, and can be more easily absorbed by the human body.

  • Milk Thistle Extract

    Milk Thistle Extract

For over 2000 years, medical texts have cited the benefits of this plant in promoting liver health. By using an extract, it is possible to maximize the silymarin content, the active cleansing agent within the plant.

  • NAC

    N-Acetyl Cystein (NAC)

An essential amino acid, NAC is one of the more powerful antioxidants known to man. It is effective in scouring the human body for free radicals, such as those that are released following alcohol consumption.

  • Prickly Pear

    Prickly Pear

Used as an antioxidant in Mexico for thousands of years, Prickly Pear is a rich source of flavonoids including  quercetin and kaempferol. It has purported benefits as an antioxidant, and has demonstrated abilities at decreasing inflammation.

  • Ginger Root

    Ginger Root

There’s a reason your school nurse would give you ginger ale when you got carsick on the school bus. Ginger Root has been used for thousands of years to help settle upset stomachs!

  • Vitamin B-12

    Vitamin B-12

Mainly used within the body to maintain proper energy synthesis on a cellular level. Importantly, B12 stores in the body are depleted by consuming alcohol, and must be replenished or else there is a risk of entering ketosis, an alternative form of energy creation that leads to dehydration.

    A Hard Pill to Swallow

Very often when we’re out promoting Ember®, people seem prone to say “Oh no, I’ve already tried some ‘hangover cure pill’ and it didn’t help at all!” They then look at us expecting some sort of sordid reaction. However each and every time we simply tell them, “We're right there with you!” So once and for all here we are to put the record straight for you all.

    Finally launching.

To say that we are excited to finally have our site fully up and functional would be an understatement. The entrepreneurial roadmap is confusing, and to be honest no amount of ‘business planning’ and ‘financial forecasting’ gets you were you want to be easily. On our journey we’ve found ourselves relying more on tenacity, patience, and a cold adult beverage (or five) here and there…

    Ancient hangover remedies…

Let's be serious, everyone has their own method of dealing with a hangover. Whether they stuff their face with greasy food, chug gallons of water or suffer through the old cold shower routine. Who are they trying to fool. It ain't working. Some people have been more "creative" when it comes to the hangover. The Ancient Assyrians started drinking ground birds' beak and myrrh (tree sap). While the Mongolians had an interesting method…pickled sheep eyes.
