Ancient hangover remedies…

Let’s be serious, everyone has their own method of dealing with a hangover. Whether they stuff their face with greasy food, chug gallons of water or suffer through the old cold shower routine. Who are they trying to fool. It ain’t working. Some people have been more “creative” when it comes to the hangover. The Ancient Assyrians started drinking ground birds’ beak and myrrh (tree sap). While the Mongolians had an interesting method…pickled sheep eyes. Personally, we’d deep-fry those bad boys. Europeans in the Middle Ages chewed on raw eel with some bitter almonds. Even sushi fans might have a hard time with that. The Polish choose to enjoy a nice glass of sour milk and scarf down a couple vinegary pickles…

What’s the worst hangover method you’ve ever tried?

Now that it is 2011 how about we all just drink Ember and skip the hangover all together.
